Susan Malcolm - Managing Director, Marketing Practices, and Head of Innovation and Forecasting

  Susan Malcolm

Susan runs the Marketing specialism in the UK.  The team conducts research to help marketeers drive their innovation programmes and ensure that their brand portfolios are commercially successful.

Susan has over 23 years’ experience in the market research industry, with broad experience in client management, research design, data analysis, marketing, sales and business analysis.

Prior to joining Ipsos MORI, Susan was a Managing Director for Bases EMEA and subsequently implemented change at the Nielsen Company using her Six Sigma, Learning and Management skills as a Master Black Belt of Global Consumer Products.

After graduating with her MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, Susan’s career has seen her hold various senior management roles with many global companies, from Kellogg’s to Coca Cola.

Dave Hannay, Head of Market Understanding & Measurement

Dave joined Synovate in 2010 to head up the research Capabilities in the UK. In this role he works with clients and account teams across all industry sectors to develop and implement brand and customer experience innovations and solutions. He is a seasoned ‘all-rounder’ in research methodologies and applications having spent over 30 years in the research industry. He is also a member of the Synovate UK Leadership Team and responsible for the Key Account Director Programme.

Prior to joining Synovate, Dave spent 20 years at TNS where he was a Board Director of TNS UK with various Sector and Business Unit management responsibility, and latterly was in charge of all Research Areas of Expertise, and Client Orientation initiatives.

Dave started his career as a graduate trainee at NOP where he spent eight years before joining a marketing consultancy as an Equity Partner.

Hilary Worton -  Head of Health

  Hilary Worton

With over 20 years of market research experience, Hilary joined Synovate as Head of Healthcare Custom in the UK in early 2011. She was previously Commercial Director for Aequus Research where she was responsible for developing the existing portfolio of clients and generating new business.

Hilary has extensive experience in developing, marketing and selling primary and secondary market research information data, services, and consulting solutions for the pharmaceutical industry in both large and small organisations, and covering both syndicated and customised research.

Hilary has worked with clients on an international level including leading global pharma clients such as GSK, Abbott, Pfizer and many others.

Paul Stamper -  Head of Qualitative

  Paul Stamper

Paul’s research career spans more than 20 years, covering field, quantitative and qualitative disciplines, but for the past 15 years he has been a dedicated qualitative researcher, working across a range of industry sectors, including finance, technology, media and consumer goods.

Paul joined Synovate at the start of 2011, to lead the UK qualitative team. Before joining Synovate he worked at TNS in the UK, where he established the Specialist Markets Qualitative team and in Belgium where he was deputy MD of TNS opinion and managed the Qualitative Eurobarometer for the European Commission.

Before discovering the joys of research he obtained a degree in Environmental Biology and was a (mostly ‘resting’) actor.
